INVASIVE VINES
INVASIVE VINES
Invasive vines such as English Ivy, Kudzu and Wisteria can weaken and kill trees including Oaks by overgrowing canopies and branches, weighting down and breaking limbs, damaging trunks and bark, and interfering with food supplies.
It is recommended that vines should not be allowed to grow on trees including the trunk, limbs or canopies. Control techniques include cutting the vines at the ground level, physical removal or applying various chemicals.
