You live in a terrific Austin neighborhood, which your Northwest Austin Civic Association (NWACA) helps to maintain and improve.  Our boundaries encompass many subdivisions, including these:  Highland Hills, Shinoak Valley, Cat Mountain, Cat Mountain Villas, Northwest Hills, Meadow Mountain, North Cat Mountain, Lakewood Village, Lakewood Park, Parkhill, and Vista West.

NWACA serves as an advocate for you on civic issues and concerns, helping you

• stay informed about what’s happening in the neighborhood
• monitor key municipal issues including zoning and planning
• address fire safety, transportation concerns, preventing crime, preventing and containing oak wilt, controlling wildlife, and other matters as they arise
• meet others in the neighborhood
• select association leadership
  

Here's how to get involved. 

• To become a voting family member of NWACA, click Join NWACA.  Annual membership is only $25 per household.
• To join the mailing list ONLY, click Join NWACA Email List and send the blank message that appears. When asked by Yahoo later to confirm your interest, merely respond with "Reply" and then "Send" from your mail program.  If you have any problem joining the list, Email NWACA and let us know that you want to be added to the list, indicating what email address you want us to use.
